How long does my order take to ship?
In-stock items ship within 3 business days.
Pre-order items are made for your order and will ship within 2 weeks. Check the item listing in the shop for more details and estimates on shipping times.
How much does shipping cost?
Orders of more than $150 receive free shipping! No promo code needed, discount will automatically apply at checkout.
To view other shipping options and costs, fill your cart and proceed to checkout. You can make shipping selections and see the cost to ship to your location.
We always refund any shipping over charges so you pay the actual cost to ship.
Do you offer international shipping?
If you don’t see your country listed when checking out, get in touch and we’ll try to make arrangements so that you can enjoy Storyteller Stitchery products in your corner of the world.
What is your return policy?
Items can be returned in original condition (unopened and undamaged) within 5 days of receiving using the “Submit a Return Request” form at the bottom of this page. There is a $2 restocking fee per item, and shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Custom orders, pre-orders, and subscriptions can not be returned.
We take great care when making and shipping your items but if something arrives damaged, please get in touch so we can make it right!

We ship orders from Monday to Friday. Allow 3 business days for your in-stock order to be dispatched. Pre-orders ship in 2 weeks. Please see product listing for details on shipping times for individual items.

Storyteller Stitchery isn't responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please add insurance to your package. If you decline shipping insurance and items are lost or damaged once mailed, we can not replace or refund.
For multiple orders placed before shipping, contact us to request that we combine packages. We'll refund any extra shipping costs. This doesn't apply to Subscription (club) orders.
Product and Care Information:
Our yarns are hand-dyed in small batches, so color variations between skeins and between dye-lots are natural. For best results in larger projects, alternating skeins is recommended.
We aim to depict colors and fibers accurately on this website and our social media posts, however, monitor displays can vary, and there might be slight differences between dye lots.
We ensure yarns and embroidery threads are thoroughly washed post-dyeing. However, some colors might bleed during the first wash or block. We advise washing in cool water separately, especially for the initial wash.
